By virtue of her beautiful, long stapled fiber, her dominant personality, awesome conformation and the wonderful reproductive abilities, Angel has been removed from my sales list. I also have a sneaky feeling she covers black, so am hoping to find that out in the next couple years - the 2009 cria will be by True Black male Satchmo, so I have a 50/50 chance of finding out for sure.
Angel is maturing into a beautiful hembra. She is large and dominant, and is a wonderful auntie to the crias that have born here. She has turned out to be a wonderful mother, just like her mother Taffeta. Angel has "gobs" of fiber - long staple length, crimp to the tips, and good density.
Angel's sire is StudMaster Paul Revere. Both of his parents were selected from Accoyo's "B" herd by Greg Mecklam with the help of Don Julio Berrada. Few animals from the "B" herd were imported into the US, so this makes Paul Revere and his offspring actual Accoyo rarities. Her dam is an older girl who is the perfect mother - "catches" in one breeding, uneventful births, and loads of milk. I expect Taffeta's reproductive qualities to be passed on to Angel.
