"Lily" is the first cria from the first female cria born on our farm. Very exciting! I am not one to spend alot of energy looking backward at an animal's pedigree - what matters to me is what is in front of me, and how it can be improved in the next generation. But Lily is an interesting mix of Accoyo (Accoyo Elite is her parernal grandfather), the Accoyo "B" herd (both maternal great grand parents are imported) and Chilean lineages.
She had nice conformation and is growing quickly. I have visions of breeding her to my Hemingway/Godfather line youngster Harley when the time comes. |
